Useing social media in class

Erin olson an english teacher in Sioux Rapids Iowa is in a small growing cadre of educators trying to exploit Twitter-like technology to enhance classroom discussion one of the students would read out loud a poem wile the class room would be on twitter having a class dicussion. Nicholas provenzano a english teacher at Grosse Pointe south high school near detroit said that in a class of 30 students only about 12 usually carried the conversation but that eight more might pop up on a backchannel another eight kids entering a discussion is huge hesaid and I belive that and I really like the one-to-one program fair has.

My reaction on the shinlers list movie

I think its a very interesting movie I still think it was crazy how everything was planed out and it worked how the people where treated was horribale. Some things I noticed is that the men where useally used for work more heavy dutty work. The women some of them got to do office work i think for shinler and there where some maids. I was not that surprised when I saw the lil one's run away to safety because its instinct to survive. The women where treated the worst through what i saw because they where less defenceless. I was shocked when I saw how the soldier was shooting jews like if it was nothing he looked really cold harted.

I herd about the death of osama bin laden and i found out yesterday when i was moving from are old house in the car i didint have any big emotional scen happen i was glad that the murder of many was cought and i thought if he was ever to get caought that he would have to go through a american court system but i guess not because he was burried in he sea.

a very bad severe weather went through central florida and a apparent tornado in tampa said the national weather service said and there is 70 people  trapped in a collapsd buildingat a sun & fun fair In Tampa, meanwhile, an apparent tornado touched down in hillsborough county parts of which were under a tornado warning that the weather service issued at 11:51 a.m. the warning covered parts of hillsborough as well as parts of polk county this was last updated on the 31st

My favorite thing about fair school are the art classes like dandc, sculpture, media arts ect.
something I would like to see change would be to change the time we are in one class make the classes like if they where friday to make up more credits. The class I think I am doing the best is in Mr.Jarmans class because he has control in his class its more easyer to focus. The class I strugle in the most is geomatry because it is very hard to focus in there. and i get sleepy. My plan for the fourth quarter is to not fail any class.

Current Event_A Girl’s Nude Photo, and Altered Lives

One day last winter a girl named Margarite texted a picture of her nude to her recent boyfriend A few weeks later Isaiah forwarded the photo to another eighth-gradegirl.and thats how it got around The problem was that everyone involved where minors. The primary reason teenagers sext is to look cool and sexy to someone they find attractive. At the end for consequence her boy friend ended up in a juvinile detention center and his socks got wet. Three teenagers got charged with distributeing child pornagraphy because the girl was under the age of eighteen. When the police were finished questioning Margarite at Chinook in January 2010, her mother, a property manager, laid down the law. For the time being, no cellphone. No Internet.
